My friend mentioned an analogy today and it really painted the picture clearly.
We often say God is in control, but we still want to be in the driver seat holding the steering wheel, and getting directions from Jesus who we placed on the passenger seat.
Truth is. He is on the driver seat. We should be on the passenger seat, observing, learning and conversing. Not in the backseat sleeping.
I really like that. I often wonder about what if I miss hearing Him, or what if I interpreted the command wrong. That in a way still represent the first case, than the latter.
