If you have faith in the truth, (which is a person) than the fire darts of lies deflect off, but if we believe a lie or lies the truth bounces off as well. That's why Jesus said, "be careful how you hear", not what you hear. Faith cometh by hearing. Ever try to talkto someone and they comletely blow you off, (like a Pharisee). Real Faith has substance and is evidenced when the circumstances that come our way, designed to strip away our false identity, (what we are is what we do or what we have), rveals wether our life is hid hid in Christ or not.
